We built the Far Infrared Tubular Carbon Fiber lamp for one specific kind of pressure: industrial heating where space is at a premium and you simply can’t cut corners on heat density. This isn’t a do-it-all heat source. It’s a focused infrared workhorse, designed to fit into tight machine footprints and keep performing in rough, day-after-day production environments.

What it feels like under load

It runs at 400V and 2500W, and it pours that power out of a compact 300mm tube. That concentration means you get heat—fast. Full output hits in seconds, so your cycle times don’t drag. The 400V choice isn’t random. It lowers the current for the same power, which lets you use smaller conductors and keeps control gear running cooler. And that 300mm length? It’s intentional. Enough radiating area to cover a tight zone without forcing you to redesign the whole heating station.

The materials that matter

Carbon fiber delivers heat across the far infrared spectrum. That kind of heat penetrates polymers and coatings more evenly than shortwave sources, so you get less surface scorching. The quartz envelope handles thermal shock without flinching. Inside, the halogen fill stabilizes the filament, so output stays steady over the life of the lamp. And the R7s base gives you a straightforward, two-pin mounting interface—easy to wire up and quick to lock into standard ceramic holders.

Where it shines—and what to keep in mind

This lamp is at home in PET blowing, plastic welding, and adhesive curing—any job that needs fast, localized heat. The far infrared profile warms the bulk of the material more evenly, so you’re less likely to overheat the surface and compromise part quality. One reality check: with 2500W packed into a small footprint, thermal management matters. Make sure your machine’s cooling and clearance are set up to match. When they are, the lamp just does its job—quietly, consistently, and right on schedule.
