
Let’s Talk About the 1260mm 2500W Carbon Fiber Heater
We built this 1260mm infrared tube for the heavy lifting. When you’ve got a massive area to cure or dry and you can’t afford “cold spots,” this is the tool for the job. At 2500W, it puts out a serious amount of heat, but because it’s so long, that heat spreads out evenly across your line. Why carbon fiber? Here’s the thing: carbon fiber just hits different than those old-school metal coils. It ramps up fast. Really fast. You aren’t standing around waiting for the machine to warm up while the clock is ticking. It penetrates materials deeper and quicker, which means you stop wasting energy during those annoying startup cycles. The SK15 Connection (and why it matters) On the technical side, we used carbon fiber because it doesn’t oxidize and flake away like metal does. But the real win for your sanity is the SK15 base. It’s a simple, spring-loaded, push-in connector. No soldering. No fighting with complex wiring. If a tube goes out, you just pop the old one out and slide the new one in. It turns a potential shop-floor headache into a two-minute swap. Putting it to work You’ll mostly see these in PET blowing machines or big industrial drying tunnels. Since they’re so long, you don’t have to clutter your setup with a dozen smaller lamps. One of these does the heavy lifting. But a word of caution: 2500W is a lot of power. If you cram this into a tight space without enough airflow, things will get too hot. Make sure your fans and vents are up to the task. If you don’t, you risk melting your housing or frying those SK15 sockets. Just give it some breathing room and you’re golden.
