Technical Deep-Dive

Here’s the practical heart of it. The lamp is 300mm long, so the hot zone stays short and fits into tight machine cavities. It runs on 400V and can deliver around 2500W, which means you get high wattage without hammering the internal wiring. That power density is why it heats up so quickly. But—and this matters—your machine’s cooling and wiring need to be up to the task. You’ll feel it, too. The area around the reflector gets seriously hot, so plan for that heat.

Material & Design

Inside the quartz envelope, the carbon fiber filament is built for rapid thermal cycling—heating up, cooling down, and doing it again without drama. A halogen fill gas keeps the filament stable at high temps and helps the output stay consistent over the lamp’s life. The R7s connector makes mounting straightforward. It’s a double-ended design that locks the lamp in place and carries the current cleanly, with no extra hardware. In most cases, it’s a true drop-in fit for standard heater slots.

Application & Benefits
